Instead of seeking justice, the CRD made unfounded claims against Hindu Americans, which led to damaging stereotypes and the introduction of SB 403, legislation promoting bias.</div><div><br></div><div>In April 2024, a judge dismissed the case due to misconduct by the CRD, and SB 403 was not enacted by Governor Gavin Newsom. This situation illustrates a troubling trend of targeting individuals through misinformation and the failure of institutions to seek the truth.
